B. L. Allen grew up in Magna, UT with her parents and older sister. She loves to write and discovered an interest in ghost stories at an early age. In college, she majored in Film & Media Arts and Writing & Rhetoric Studies, which helped her explore her creativity and hone her technical writing skills. During that time she married her husband, and shortly afterward was inspired to write her first short novel. She is now working on her untitled second novel. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys watching Netflix and playing video games such as Fortnite and various Pokémon titles. She currently lives in Auburn, AL with her husband and pet cat.
